A - Out of sight is out of mind. Product needs to remain top of mind with strategic, timely and on-going communications on behalf of our clients – to both defend current inclusions and support and increase inclusions/support.
Exclusive Retreats continually work with our tour operator partners to build brand awareness and support for our clients and we are always seeking new opportunities for brochure and web inclusions. All UK tour operators are being constantly targeted by competitor products who are trying to secure space in their brochure and on their websites and, therefore, if you are not continuously communicating with these operators, you may well find that operators actually remove you from brochures as their sales may not justify the inclusion as there hasn’t been the necessary training and front-of-mind awareness given to their sales consultants.
Exclusive Retreats would, therefore, ensure that not only is your current position protected but that new opportunities are continuously being sought and we would expect to see continual growth in brochure inclusions year-on-year. Also bear in mind that new operators are continually entering the market and, again, we need to catch these operators early and get our product positioned with them before our competitors do.
Sales communications need to be crafted to the specific needs of each operator, to realise more support/bed nights and build long-lasting and mutually beneficial trade relationships.
