Gondwana Introduces 500 New Game & an Africology Spa
New Game Introduced - Gondwana Game Reserve continues to invest in its wildlife program with kudu, eland, springbok, red hartebeest, ostrich, gemsbok and zebra being released this July & August - totalling 500 head of new general game. The cheetah and hippo populations introduced in 2010 have settled well, now offering frequent guest sightings on game drives. Gondwana also plays home to free roaming Big 5 populations including the endangered Black Rhino.
New Africology Spa - Gondwana launched its new Spa Treatment Suite offering the all-natural Africology Spa product range. The private treatment suite is well-positioned to take in Gondwana’s legendary valley and mountain vistas. The Africology Spa is a wonderful new relaxation and rejuvenation addition that adds to the overall Gondwana experience.
New GM - The lodge team is now headed by GM, Neil Davison, previously with Hunter Hotels, Legacy Hotels and Southern Sun. Neil has a guest centric operational approach and a strong environmental background with a BSc honours degree. Owners Mark and Wendy Rutherfoord have every confidence that Neil will take Gondwana Game Reserve to the next level - a premier safari destination in the Western Cape.
Sales Team - Southern Spoor Marketing is Gondwana’s South Africa sales and marketing office and Exclusive Retreats; an extension of this team, in England. Gondwana Game Reserve is now also part of the Preferred Hotel Group, affording the reserve greater global reach and connecting with an extensive global GDS booking system.
The Perfect Cape Town Safari Break - Gondwana Game Reserve provides the perfect safari break for Cape Town visitors. Less than a four-hour drive away along South Africa’s popular Garden Route, the 11,000 hectare private game reserve offers a distinctive malaria-free safari experience.
